Business Brokers Network was founded in 1981. The company
headquarters is located at 9330 LBJ Freeway, Suite 740, Dallas,
Texas 75243. There are more than twenty staff members at this
location involved in various aspects of business brokerage,
merger & acquisitions, deal structuring, and other professional
services provided to affiliates, business owners and prospective
buyers.
Over
the years, we have grown to more than four hundred and fifty
affiliates covering all fifty states and Canada, the largest
business brokerage network in the nation. Though independently
owned and operated, each office operates under a standardized
system. Each BBN Affiliate Broker is able to list a business
anywhere in the country and that business can be presented, in
person, to potential buyers anywhere in the country. This allows
business owners to have more than just the services of a local
business broker who normally only markets the business on a local
or, at best, regional basis. With BBN business owners have the
advantage of each of the nationwide network offices.
Due to
BBN's expansion, clients are no longer geographically restricted
to the local or regional services offered by most "neighborhood"
brokers. When utilizing the largest brokerage network in the
nation, business owners have the distinct advantage and
availability of a nationwide web of accessible offices.
Business Brokers Network takes pride in being an active
participant in professional, business, and trade organizations and
associations.

the network, Gerrald Nance and some key staff members.

Brokers Network. Mr. Nance spent twenty-two years in various
management positions with Sears, Roebuck & Company. In 1981,
he resigned from Sears to enter the business brokerage
profession. By the mid-1980's, he co-founded Alliance of
Independent Brokers. Alliance became one of the best known
names in business brokerage in the Southwest. It consisted
of five independent business brokerage firms, using
consolidated procedures and cooperating in all business
listings. |

In 1992, Mr. Nance made the decision to duplicate the
Alliance program on a national basis. He has been the
guiding force establishing Business Brokers Network as the
largest business brokerage group in America.
He is a member of the International Business Brokers
Association (IBBA) and holds the designation of Certified
Business Intermediary (CBI). Mr. Nance has achieved the
designation of Certified Business Counselor (CBC) from the
Institute of Certified Business Counselors. He is also a
member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB)
and holds the designation of Board Certified Broker (BCB).
These are the three highest earned designations, which these
leading business brokerage associations award. In October of
1995, he was presented the Fellow Award by IBBA. This is the
highest honor and level of recognition it awards.
Mr. Nance served two terms as president of the Dallas/Fort
Worth chapter of TABB. He has also served two terms on the
state association board of directors. In addition, he has
spoken on numerous occasions to business brokerage
